PRIMARK “PURE GLOW” Highlighter Pallet REVIEW

As you can see by the title, I gave in to the Highlighter Epidemy we are living in! And I’m here to tell you all about it!

 

First of all, I already owned some highlighters, 2 to be precise, but they were creamy, and dificult to work with. I bought them some time ago, and they gave me a very natural look, but I wanted to try something different, a more dramatic look, and see how it works for me.

The thing is, I didn’t wanted to spend a lot of money, in something I didn’t knew if it was going to work for me, or what shade should I buy, or even if this trend would last. I mean, imagine I spent 60 Euros in some highend highlighter, and only used it one time, and then it was not a trend anymore.

So, I was roaming around Primark, and I saw this Pallet, and I was instantly in love with the packaging and the shades. I swatched the shades, they seemed nice, so I bought it. Just to try out and play with the different shades.

So let’s dive into this Review:

The pallet has 4 shades. The first one. from left to right, is DESERT and is a white shade, not silver. Next we have GLIMMER, which is a pure gold, then we have EDEN, which is a beautiful pink, and last, we have FIREFLY, which is more of a bronze.

The only thing I don’t like in this, is the smell. It has a very intense smell, I don’t know if it is from the powders, or from the packaging in itself. It smells of chemicals, like glue or plastic, I don’t know how too describe it. It smells very cheap, and it offends my bougie nostrils! Kidding, about the nostrils, not about the smell, it’s awful!

I love all the shades, although I had to swatch them two times, to get this pigmentation. But I think for the price (6 Euros) and the variety you get, is only fair. They work, they are pretty, they give a nice glow to your face, Me Likes It.

As usual, I left some photos, so you can see how they work on my skin. From now on, this will be my go to highlighter. I don’t think I will be spending a lot of money in another one. But who knows! If it happens, I’ll be here to tell you!
